A very exceptionally beautiful frame, especially the super cool curved "swing arms " at the back and two centre tubes also very neatly specially curved! I haven't seen a nicer frame yet! Very nice that this does not come at the expense of extra weight as the bike is very light. I also like the aluminium mudguards with a nice edge. I am not a fan of the 3×10 MTB groupset but this is of course easy to replace.
Solid powerful Shimano Deore brakes, nice rear light and rims.
Furthermore, I personally upgraded the grips, pedals and small accessories to more expensive better material which immediately makes this bike look very high-end, ergo super expensive, for little money.
A HUGE sporty bike with still comfort in mind, and as I have come to expect from Thompson insane value for money!
6 months later, I am still super happy with this purchase.
The only downside that comes to my mind is the incomprehensible choice to make the swing-arms matt black which kind of negates their super cool shape.
Hint: replace groupset with a road groupset, wafer-thin airless tyres and narrower handlebars on it and you really have a "racing machine" ! , should you still go for maximum speed like me. Nice to keep up with super fancy city bike racers 😉
